I turned this bowl from my personal stock of local Xylosma wood. The deep, rich reds and browns are accentuated by the food-safe Tung Oil finish. A functional, medium-sized piece whose color will naturally become richer and darker over time, featuring a subtle spalted pattern on the bottom exterior rim.

Care Instructions: Hand wash only. Do not put in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Do not store while still wet. Re-apply 100% food grade tung oil, 100% food grade walnut oil, or 100% food grade mineral oil occasionally to help preserve this piece for a lifetime.
