Shou Sugi Ban Orange Bowl, 5" x 2.5"

This hand-turned bowl is a striking study in contrast. I was inspired by the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban method to char the bowls exterior and then sand the entire piece smooth. This deep finish beautifully frames the interior's natural, warm Orange Wood grain. Fully sealed with food-safe tung oil, it's perfect for snacks, trinkets, or as a decorative accent.

Care Instructions : Hand wash only. Do not put in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Do not store while still wet. Re-apply 100% food grade tung oil, 100% food grade walnut oil, or 100% food grade mineral oil occasionally to help preserve this piece for a lifetime.
