Shou Sugi Ban Orange Vase, 4" x 9"

Hand-turned vase from local California Central Valley Orange Wood. I finished the exterior with a torch ( Japanese shou sugi ban inspired) and then sanded the piece smooth. The deep black surface dramatically contrasts with the light, warm wood interior.

Care Instructions: Wipe clean with a soft cloth. Hand wash as needed. Do not put in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Apply tung oil, walnut oil, or mineral oil occasionally to help preserve this piece for a lifetime.
