Segmented Red Oak Bowl (1), 10.5" x 4"

Crafted from 121 individually cut and angled segments of red oak, this bowl is a true testament to patience and precision. Each piece was meticulously assembled into rings, which were then stacked and secured to create a single, cohesive form. The entire piece was then turned on a lathe to achieve its final shape. For a durable, food-safe finish, the bowl was treated with pure, 100% food-grade tung oil.

Care Instructions: Hand wash only. Do not put in the dishwasher, microwave or oven. Do not store while still wet. Re-apply 100% food grade tung oil, 100% food grade walnut oil, or 100% food grade mineral oil occasionally to help preserve for a lifetime.
